Noxilizer Relocates to New Facility in Hanover, MD
BETHESDA, Md. - Jan. 9, 2018 - One of Maryland’s fastest-growing biotech firms repositions to meet rising demand
Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) announced that Noxilizer, one of Maryland’s fastest-growing biotech firms, will be moving to 10,481 square feet of space at 1334 Ashton Road in Hanover, Maryland. After five years at the University of Maryland BioPark in Baltimore City, the firm needs a more efficient facility to accommodate its growing market presence.
The new office is located in Anne Arundel County near Arundel Mills Mall, with easy access to the I-95 corridor and nearby amenities. Just five miles from Baltimore-Washington International Airport, 13 miles from both Downtown Baltimore and Downtown Columbia and 30 miles from Washington, DC, the company will be conveniently positioned for both employees and customers.
“The new office allows us to retain all of the advantages of urban connectivity while affording us the space we need to meet the growth we’re experiencing,” said Lawrence Bruder, President & CEO of Noxilizer. “It is thrilling to see this move as an objective sign of how much we have grown as a company over the past five years.”
Noxilizer provides room temperature nitrogen dioxide (NO2) sterilization equipment and bio-decontamination equipment to pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device manufacturers. Its proprietary technology offers many benefits over traditional sterilization methods, including ultra-low temperature (10°-30°C), minimal pressure requirements, no cytotoxic residuals, and fast cycle times (2-4 hours, including aeration). First commercialized by Noxilizer in 2012, NO2 sterilization opens new avenues for innovation and has been shown to be particularly effective in the sterilization of prefilled syringes, drug-device combination products, and custom implants.
The company’s customers include Fortune 150 pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
The Ashton Road property is owned by Feldman Bergin Development in partnership with Kenwood Management Company. The landlord was represented by Marley Welsh and Kate Jordan of Lee & Associates, while Michael Singer of Newmark Knight Frank represented the tenant.
